Coriander seeds are an essential spice used in various cuisines around the world. They have a distinct flavor and aroma that adds depth to dishes. Here is a detailed guide on cultivating and harvesting coriander seeds:
Cultivation:
Climate: Coriander is a cool-season herb that thrives in temperatures of around 60-75°F. It can be grown in both the spring and fall seasons.
Soil: Coriander grows best in well-draining soil with a pH level between 6.2-6.8. It does well in loamy or sandy soil types.
Planting: Sow coriander seeds directly in the garden bed or container as they do not transplant well. Plant the seeds 1/4 inch deep and space them 6 inches apart. Water the seeds regularly to keep the soil moist.
Light: Coriander plants prefer full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
Fertilization: Use a balanced fertilizer to feed the plants once a month during the growing season.
We Pentastar International always procure premium Coriander Seeds directly from Farmer or APMC. Behind this our main moto is to provide Premium quality Coriander seeds to our customer.

Harvesting:
Time: Coriander plants generally take around 3-4 months from sowing to reach maturity. The seeds are ready for harvest when they turn brown and begin to dry on the plant.
Seed Collection: To harvest coriander seeds, cut the entire plant at the base and hang it upside down in a cool, dry place for 1-2 weeks to allow the seeds to dry completely.
Cleaning: Once the seeds are completely dry, gently rub the seed heads to release the seeds. Remove any debris or chaff by shaking the seeds in a colander.
Storage: Store the coriander seeds in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Properly stored seeds can last for up to 1 year.
